Join us to hear Sharon Allison, Edina City Clerk, speak about Edina 2022 Redistricting and New Polling Places.

As part of the census-driven redistricting process, on March 22, the Edina City Council voted to approve new voting precincts and polling places in Edina. The number of precincts and polling places was reduced from 20 to 16. Allison will explain the analysis the city did following the state’s legislative redistricting leading to the new precincts and changes in polling locations.

All registered voters will receive a mailing from Hennepin County in July giving the location of the voter’s new polling place. The Secretary of State expects to update the Polling Place Finder (where you enter your home address and get the address of your polling place) on its website sometime mid-May to June. But, you can attend LWVE’s May morning meeting and learn all the new details now.
