Twice a year we attend a performance tied to the League of Women Voter’s mission.  This fall, our selected show at the History Theatre is Fancy Dancer, the story of a young Native/White woman in South Dakota who finds her path through ballet. The show is inspired by Osage prima ballerina Maria Tallchief.

Cost is $40/ticket (main floor). To join us, reserve by September 12. E-mail [email protected] with your ticket count. Dinner and conversation follow the show; carpools available; scholarships available on confidential request. Non-members welcome. Closed captioning available.

Save the date: our spring show, “Café Au Lait: Nellie Francis Battles the Big, Bad Book of History,” returns to the History Theatre in April (date TBA).
