League of Women Voters Edina Candidate Forums
The League of Women Voters Edina will be facilitating candidate forums for three local general election races. Due to COVID-19 safety concerns, there will be no live audience for the forums but all will be available for viewing here after the dates listed below. Members of the community, including students, are encouraged to submit questions.

Earth Day Clothing Swap and Fashion Show
LWVE’s April Evening Event is an Earth Day Clothing Swap and Fashion Show on Thursday, April 20 from 4 to 8:00 pm at the Braemar Arena Backyard Rink. General Election
The general election is Tuesday, November 3. Due to COVID-19, the League of Women Voters is encouraging everyone to vote from home – it is easy, safe, and secure. The state of Minnesota suggests requesting your ballot by Friday, October 2 in order to receive it, complete it, and return it by November 3. You can request your mail in ballot at mnvotes.org.

Candidate Forum: Hennepin County Commissioner District 6
The League of Women Voters of Edina, Minnetonka-Eden Prairie-Hopkins, South Tonka and Wayzata-Plymouth Area hosted a Hennepin County Commissioner District 6 Candidate Forum (via Zoom) on June 18th, 2020. There will be a primary August 11 and the two candidates who receive the most votes will move on to the General Election November 3.
