Join us at LWVE’s December 14 morning meeting, to hear MJ Lamon, Community Engagement Manager for the City of Edina discuss the Evolution of Boards and Commissions in Edina.

Lamon will explain the recent changes to the application/interview/selection process used to choose community members for Edina’s boards and commissions as well as the ongoing efforts to increase the diversity of board and commission membership. Boards and commissions play a significant role in engaging the community and developing future leaders, so it is critical that citizens have an understanding of how those groups are chosen.
